All the artwork, interpretations and
applications of have been done by KATY.... Table tops, floors, furniture and walls.... All the window treatments have been designed and fabrics
recommended by Katy.... Back in 1984 at Mount Snow Ski Area in Vermont, Katy started working with paints and wood while
apprenticing in the ski area sign shop. Adding graphics to signs provided an additional outlet for her creative side. When the director left she took over all aspects of running the
sign shop. Some of those signs are still standing today, 25 years later. Good paint, that Benjamin Moore. Upon moving to a warmer climate (Delaware) in 1989, Katy apprenticed
at Designs by Dana, for 4 years, a Decorating, Gift and Window Treatment firm in Seaford, until the owners moved West. By that time the Decorative Painting craze had hit! Wallpaper was
labor intensive to put up and remove, left seams and frayed. Paint is easy up and to cover over, and hey" it's only paint " Many effects and moods can be created using tools, pressure and
imagination. Katy realized she found an enjoyable opportunity to combine painting and decorating. Today she is still carrying ladders and paints, hanging draperies
and moving furniture. She loves
a little project or a large one. Traveling

Katy has been marketing properties as a Real Estate Specialist at the beach since 2000. Katy started out in Rehoboth Beach with O'Connor, Piper & Flynn until the company was purchased by Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage around 2002. Coldwell Banker Resort Realty then purchased CBRB Rehoboth in 2008, splitting agents between their Rehoboth office and Lewes office on Kings Highway, on the way to the ferry. We are a force to be reckoned with in the Beach area with over 70 agents. During this period of time Katy has been LISTING AGENT OF THE YEAR 2006, Katy has graduated from the infamous TOP GUN training program, Katy has spearheaded several work related volunteer functions, Katy has attended 2 National Association of Realtors conventions (Orlando & New Orleans)absorbing valuable information to assist buyers and sellers better, and Katy has rec'd kudos from buyers and sellers. VOLUNTEERISM Volunteering, as far back as 1989, Katy was involved with Nanticoke
Memorial Hospital in Seaford starting out as a morning greeter at Lifecare at Lofland, artist in the hospital, to Co Chairing
the Hospital Winter Ball. Volunteering to chair
the Realtor Community Service Auction for Coldwell Banker's office for several years, where the needy children in
Sussex County recieve gifts bought and wrapped by Realtors, was rewarding. Katy also offered her services to lead
and design a ROOM MAKEOVER as one of their auction baskets. (see the before and after shots) Volunteering for Beebe Medical Foundations Art Auction, offering her decorative painting
services, etc Volunteering for the American
Red Cross Delmarva Chapter and recieving the 2005 Outstanding Volunteer of the Year Award, highlighted her
time helping others in Delaware.
